Don Reinhard of Florida, currently located in Los Angeles, California and working as a nurse supervisor in the Cedars Sinai Hospital, remembers how he was initially terrified at the idea of moving. Being born in Southern Florida and having spent most of his life there, he expresses how he never thought of leaving his birth place. But after quite a while, he had started feeling like he was stuck and wanted to get out of there. Hence, when presented with the opportunity of getting to work in California, he could not resist it and took the chance.
Reinhard’s decision has created a newfound love in him for wanting to explore more places and explore different ethnicities and cultures. Moving has made him overcome his fear of going to new places and has brought him out of his comfort zone. He regrets taking this decision so late in his life, at the age of forty-five. Since he is entitled to one-month vacation every year by his hospital, he has decided to take his family on a vacation every year to different countries.
Don Reinhard of Florida especially wants to go to Europe and Asia as the people there, are quite different from the people in America—or so he has heard. His children are particularly happy because of their father’s new love for traveling and they cannot wait to go on their first trip in summers. They have even told their father that they would like to go to China on their first trip. Their father could not agree more.
